The month of January will be busy. The first hour of the meeting will be led by Carol Marlin as we work on "Bead It Forward" projects for this year.
The 2018 theme is Butterflies.
There are lots of nifty patterns that you can download off the web. Go to: www.facebook.com/beaditforward and look for the July 29 entry. There you will find 11 patterns or you can make up your own pattern. Carol will have copies of the patterns at the meeting.
You can also download butterfly patterns using this link (PDF).
Bring your needles, beads and thread (Fireline or other favorite stitching material) to create 2-1/2" squares that are donated to the Bead It Forward Quilt Project that are auctioned to raise funds for Breast Cancer Research and care.
Beaders donate squares which are assembled into beautiful quilts, auctioned and sold. IBS has participate in this worthwhile project for a number of years. Completed squares will need to be turned in at the February meeting.
ALSO AT THE JANUARY MEETING - OUR 3RD ANNUAL GARAGE SALE!
Clean out your bead stash, tools, books, projects you bought but never got the time to do, beading patterns you no longer need....anything that has to do with beading.
