The Program:

In 2017 we followed the results of the survey taken in the Fall of 2016 and made several peyote and brick stitch technique projects. The survey results show that after the previous two, the technique unknown by the largest number of members is Square Stitch so that is what we will focus on for the March meeting. The end result of square stitch looks identical to the end result of loom work. The main benefit of square stitch is that you do not have all the many threads to tie off making it faster than loom work.

Supplies to bring are as follows: Size 10 or 12 beading needle, beading thread (Nymo, C-Lon, Silamide, or Fireline), Embroidery scissors, bead pad.
