The Program:

In all the previous wire classes Jan has taught for the Indiana Bead Society, she has taught wire wrapping. This project is different. It is woven, not wrapped. The bracelet will be made working over four frame wires and creating an interesting pattern tying the four frame wires together.

Kit Cost / Supplies:

The kit fee is: $15.00 The kit will contain fine silver plated non tarnish wire as well as copper wire for practice.

Here is a list of necessary tools to bring to class: Flush cutters to cut 18 gauge wire, Chain nose pliers, Round nose pliers, Flat nose pliers, Painters tape, Sharpie marker, Flexible tape measure, and 12” Ruler.

Optional items for use in the class are: a beader’s awl and Nylon jaw wire straightening pliers (or if you don’t have them, bring a pen with no ridges to class).

Items not necessary to bring to class, but will be helpful later are: a jewelers file, chasing hammer and a bench block.
