Our annual Spring Workshop will be held on Saturday, April 10, 2010 and, as always, we need IBS members to teach the classes. We look forward to seeing new projects from those of you who have taught before as well as from first-timers. Who knows, this could start you on the path to fame and riches. You do get paid for your teaching: $75 for a 3-hour class, $150 for a 6-hour class, and 100% of the required kit fees.
To teach at this years Spring Workshop, you must produce an original project, determine the cost of the materials in the kit, complete the application and submit it for the consideration of the Education Committee who will choose the projects to offer at the workshop.
A year ago members were asked to indicate their interests by completing a survey. The top three responses were bead embroidery, seed bead weaving and wire wrapping. Prospective teachers, you might want to think about those areas for your classes.
We look forward to receiving your project and application by Wednesday, February 3, 2010.
