Join us for an immersive beading workshop where you’ll create a stunning beaded pendant using a combination of advanced techniques and elegant materials. In this class, you will learn how to:

Garden Trellis Bracelet – Judy Champa

Enjoy weaving this refreshing bracelet using ladder stitch and an embellishment stitch technique to finish each side of your bracelet. A refresher for some, and new basic stitches for others. This bracelet works up quickly using size 11 seed beads and cube beads. Finished up with a toggle clasp, and this bracelet will be a classic addition to your jewelry wardrobe!

You will learn techniques of following a thread path within a weaving pattern.

Kit includes size 11 seed beads and size 6 cube beads as well as a toggle clasp for ease of fastening!

Reflections of the Soul – Lisa Bowling

In this class, students will learn how to create a unique, mixed-media pendant using a variety of beading and textile techniques. This project incorporates an abstract face focal piece set against cork fabric foundation, enhanced with intricate beadwork and embellishments.

Techniques Covered:

.           Cork Fabric as a Foundation:  Learn how to work with cork fabric as a durable and visually textured base for bead embroidery.

.           Backstitch Beading:  Master the fundamental backstitch technique to secure attach beads around the focal element and frame the design.

.           Cup chain Application:  Integrate cup chain to add structure, sparkle, and depth to the piece.

.           Basic Edge Stitching:  Finish the edges with a clean, polished beaded border.

.           Peyote Stitch Bail:  Create a sturdy yet decorative bail using peyote stitch, allowing for easy attachment to a necklace cord or chain.

By the end of this class, participants will have a finished pendant that combines bold artistic expression with refined beadwork techniques. Perfect for intermediate beaders looking to expand their skills and experiment with mixed materials!

Dozens of Daisies Necklace – Francie Broadie

Are you a beaded bead enthusiast, or perhaps you like a bead of a different color! Then this is the class for you!

Learn to make two different beaded beads to create this ‘Springy’ necklace. Students will use multiple stitches and learn how to transition from one stitch to another.

TOOLS:  Please bring 6lb Fireline in BOTH Smoke AND Crystal. Size 11 or 12 needles, wax, and scissors. Pliers and Crimpers will be needed to complete the project, but will not be used in class.

In the Sky with Diamonds” Bracelet

Join Judy to create a beautiful bracelet using super duo shaped beads where you will learn to follow a pattern using several sizes and styles of beads. This classic style bracelet is worked up using Super Duos and size 11 and 15 seed beads along with two-hole brick beads; it’s brought together using a beaded loop through a metal 3-loop clasp. 

Tools:  Bead Mat, Size 10 beading needles, 6lb Fireline, wax, scissors, and magnification and lighting as needed.
