The Program:

Out of the many finishing details that could be chosen, for this class I chose a toggle clasp and a beaded tassel. Each of the components are to be used as the main feature of a bead strung necklace. The toggle clasp is made using the peyote technique made around a wooden dowel. There are several ways to make tassels, but for this project I choose to make it using a ribbon as a base. I am aware that many of the bead society members like to use Fireline instead of thread, but for the tassel, you must use thread. Fireline or thread can be used for the toggle clasp.

PLEASE REMEMBER TO REGISTER FOR THE CLASS IN ADVANCE.

PLEASE BRING: Beading thread, 6# Fireline if you prefer for the toggle clasp, beading needles size 10 or 12, pad for beads. Later at home you will need round nose and chain nose pliers, wire cutter, and crimp bead tool.
